You may see slowdowns this morning if you’re traveling through Republic.
MoDOT announced that U.S. Route 60/Missouri Route 413 and Missouri Route 174 Intersection left and right turn lanes will be closed starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Contractor crews will be installing the left and right turn lane traffic detection systems on the signal arms.
MoDOT says that lanes will be closed one at a time as crews work.
Drivers are urged to find alternate routes, but MoDOT says traffic delays are not expected.
The new signal detection system is to be operational the week of March 1.
