A man from Springfield has been found guilty by a Greene County jury of sexually abusing three children.
The Greene County Prosecutor says Clinton M. Boyd, 46, faces up to life in prison for abusing kids ages 5, 11, and 13.
Boyd was found guilty of abusing a five-year-old relative in 2011.
He also abused the 11 and 13-year-old daughters of a friend in 2019.
The victims didn’t immediately come forward because Boyd made them promise “not to tell”.
He also has two previous convictions from 2004 for statutory rape involving two other children.
Boyd received probation for those crimes, but his probation was later revoked and he was sent to prison for a five year sentence.
Sentencing is set for May 7, 2021.
