Governor Mike Parson says the state’s mass vaccination clinics are on schedule after over 66,000 people received a vaccine at one of the clinics.
Sixty-eight have been completed. Another eight are scheduled for Friday, March 5th.
The Governor says CDC data show Missouri ranks second lowest in the nation for average daily COVID cases per 100,000.
The mass vaccination clinics are run by the Missouri National Guard, the State Emergency Management Agency, and the Department of Health and Senior Services.
In the past seven days, over 186,000 people have been vaccinated.
