A 15-year old freshman at Bolivar High School drowned in a private pond northeast of Pleasant Hope Friday.
Polk County authorities pronounced the victim dead at 10:48 p.m. that night.
Bolivar High School coach Glen Johnson posted a request on Facebook to pray for the victim’s family.
