Job seekers can attend another hiring event in Springfield.

John Deere Reman is looking to hire full time workers for its location on 4500 East Mustard Way.

The job fair will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 8.

Positions open range from electronic technicians, warehouse works, parts cleaners and more.

COVID protocols will be in place for those attending.

John Deere Reman is hiring for full-time positions in Springfield.

On Saturday, May 8, John Deere Reman will be hosting a hiring event from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Reman location at 4500 East Mustard Way in Springfield. Prospective employees can view a virtual factory tour, learn about available jobs and the compensation and benefits package, and complete an electronic application and pre-employment testing onsite. COVID-19 protocols will be in place. 

Reman supervisors and Human Resources representatives will be on hand to discuss available positions as electronics technicians, assemblers, disassemblers, warehouse workers, maintenance workers and parts cleaners. Previous experience is not required for most roles, however, Deere Reman is especially interested in applicants who have prior electronics, powertrain, drivetrain, hydraulics, mechanic or maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

Starting hourly pay ranges from $14.34 to $17.70 with new hires receiving an hourly wage increase after six months. In addition to base pay, production employees participate in an incentive pay plan and earn the opportunity for four quarterly bonuses per year. 

Starting dates for jobs are negotiable and will begin as early as late May and run through early September.
