The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) is announcing an emergency appeal for all blood types.
Currently, CBCO has less than a one-day supply available.
Eligible blood donors are being asked to give immediately at a CBCO blood drive or donor center.
Donors can give at one of four CBCO donor centers:
- Don Thomson Donor Center in Springfield – 220 W. Plainview Rd. (corner of Campbell & Plainview)
- Joplin Donor Center – Northpark Mall 101 N. Range Line Road Joplin, MO
- Springdale Donor Center – 3503 S. Thompson Springdale, AR
- Bentonville Donor Center – Shops at the Forum 1400 SE Walton Blvd. Bentonville, AR
People who have received a COVID-19 vaccination may donate blood with no waiting period.
Donors must be at least 16-years-old, weigh at least 110 pound and feeling well and healthy at the time of donation.
