Construction is underway for a new fire station in Springfield.
The Springfield Fire Department shared an update on the construction of Fire Station 4 on social media.
The new station is replacing a former fire station that was demolished back in March.
The station is located off North Delaware.
Fire Station 4 will serve both the Doling and Robberson neighborhood residents.
