The Greene County prosecutor has filed charges against a second man connected to a deadly shooting in west Springfield in August.
24-year-old Cody J. Westmoreland is facing charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and felony robbery.
Those charges are connected to the death of Jason E. Masters from Springfield.
Garrett Austin Eagle has also been charged with second-degree murder charge in the death of Masters.
Masters was rushed to a hospital after officers found him wounded in a truck at a convenience store around 2 p.m. on August 13 in Springfield. He later died from his injuries.
