A man who Webster County deputies say put his wife’s body inside a freezer in a storage unit has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Larry Dinwiddie appeared in court Monday and agreed to a plea deal that included the state dropping a charge of abandoning a corpse.
The state asked for a sentence of 25 years.
Investigators say Dinwiddie’s wife Cynthia was found in November of 2019 in a freezer in an abandoned storage unit in Marshfield.
The freezer was locked and running.
KY3 reports court documents say the case resulted from domestic abuse.
Authorities say in this case, Dinwiddie’s wife had been abusing him.
A judge set sentencing for January 25.
