A GoFundMe page has been set up for a park ranger wounded last week during an officer-involved shooting in Springfield.

Robert Bridges, 52, was shot five times after responding to help Springfield Police with a disturbance call near Glenstone and Battlefield.

Bridges had been a park ranger for about a year-and-a-half.

He previously spent 17 years in law enforcement.

By Tuesday morning, more than $6,500 had been raised to help with his recovery.
