The Highway Patrol reports a search is underway for a boy along the banks of Bull Shoals Lake.
He was reported missing Friday afternoon, and a search was underway by 1:30 p.m.
Troopers suspended the search after dark Friday.
KY3 reports the search is near Slough Hollow Road, south of Kissee Mills.
Investigators have not released information about the boy’s age or a description at this time.
Marine troopers began surface searching an area about half a mile downstream from the Highway 160 bridge.
Water conditions were murky with varying current and receding water.
The Missouri Conservation Department, local law enforcement and neighbors are among those assisting in the ongoing search, which is expected to resume Saturday morning.
